Ralph is a 7-year-old Maltipoo who came in through no fault of his own.

He enjoys his walks and is fine off the lead unless he sees another dog when he will ignore calls until he meets it, but he is equally happy pottering around a garden. Ralph gets very worked up when strangers approach and runs at them barking. However, if he is ignored he soon calms down. He prefers women to men. He is less anxious about strangers near him if he is off the lead. Ralph is fine with all children but given his age, over 8 would be best for him.

On the whole, he is happy to snooze when in the house, but he does occasionally play with toys and likes to chew on an empty hoof.

Ralph has a slightly stiff forepaw and limps a bit first thing, but once he gets going he is much better. He wears a Bioflow collar which seems to help. Ralph also had a lot of dental problems when he arrived and has had several teeth removed. He was extremely picky about his food and had to be hand-fed. He is now happily eating wet dog food twice a day on his own. He will eat small kibble if it is left down for him to have when he wants.

Overall, Ralph is a happy chap who wants to be with his human as much as possible. He loves cuddles but will interact with a toy.

Ralph is being fostered in Derbyshire.
