Monty is a lively and inquisitive boy who suffers from small dog syndrome. He can switch from a fun-loving doodle about town to an ankle snapper at the drop of a Bonio. With the right care, attitude, attention, and training Monty will gain confidence. Yapping and snapping are driven by fear. Monty needs an owner that can provide him with positive experiences, and take the anxiety out of encounters with new people and dogs. He is fine with familiar dogs but will snap at dogs when on the lead and, occasionally, off the lead. He is very anxious with strangers. He will back away, or bark and snap. Ongoing training will be necessary to bring out the best in Monty.
Monty needs a home with another dog, or dogs, that are relaxed and confident.

Monty is being fostered in Surrey.

N.B. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We also offer rescue backup for the lifetime of the dog. 

Monty's adoption fee is £450.

Please note: 
You will be expected to go and visit the dog in its foster home at least once. 
Please do not apply if you are not ready to adopt at the time of applying. 
We do not rehome dogs outside of the UK.
