Milo is a typical puppy, exuberant, excitable and affectionate. He is also entering the rebellious teenager phase - pushing boundaries, seeing how far he can go and what he can get away with. As Milo is already quite big (and likely to grow more), what's cute and endearing can be less so when it's a 24 kg lump jumping up, mouthing and barking.
Milo has received some training but is in need of more. Initially, he was very difficult on the lead in foster, but he's been getting used to a head collar and is getting better.
Milo tries his best, but gets overwhelmed with the joy of life and lots of smells! He likes toys and is curious and observant so, even when not walking, he spends quite a lot of time exploring his environment and experimental gardening.
Milo is not destructive but will pinch things and take them away if he can get away with it. He has chewed plant pots and tissues but hasn't damaged furniture, etc.
Milo has boundless energy and needs to be able to get rid of it. His recall is mostly good if he's not too involved in something else. He's curious and wants to know why you've called him!
Milo does sit, give a paw, and will wait when told, but his training will be an ongoing task for some time! He is housetrained, but his control isn't perfect. Again, this is something that needs to be worked on.
All in all, Milo is a lovely boy, with a sweet and happy nature who really needs a home where he will get lots of exercise, firm boundaries, training and maybe an interest such as flyball or agility.
