Where do I begin to tell you about this fabulous little boy ..... Huey is a 6-year-old bundle of fun who loves the company of humans and other dogs and currently lives with four others without issue. He has shown signs of the usual Cockapoo resource guarding traits but, whilst in foster, we have found this was more around meal times, so he's now being graze-fed along with our others, which has improved things so much so that he will know happily munch along-side another canine companion. Huey loves to cuddle on the sofa after a busy day, and may even try to claim you as his own, so you will need to be firm if this happens by telling him no and making him get down until he accepts he has to share, again with consistent positive correction this has also diminished. He loves to be out and about meeting new people and has only ever shown good manners. He walks well on the lead but can be a little eager to begin with. His recall is fabulous, and he's not distracted by his surroundings. He travels well in the car and has even found his sea legs, making him an ideal companion for holidays and trips out. Huey will require a trip to the groomer for clipping every 6 to 8 weeks to keep his coat in tip-top condition and will require regular brushing in between. We are looking for a home, ideally, with another canine companion or with an owner who will be home for a lot of the day as he does like company. He has been left for up to 4 hours in foster with other dogs without any problems. Any potential new owner would need to be dog-savvy and able to continue with his positive re-enforcement training and respect his little quirky ways. In return, he will give you years of love and joy.

Huey is being fostered in County Tyrone.
