Cockapoo • Male • 2 years old • 16" to the shoulder
Boris is a bundle of fun and a pleasure to have around. He absolutely loves playing, especially with other dogs and would love a home with another playful dog. Boris loves his walks and will run nonstop from start to finish. His recall has improved a lot while in foster and he is particularly responsive to a whistle. Boris pulls on the lead and is strong. This could be improved with time and consistent training as he is a fast learner. At home Boris is affectionate and loves to cuddle up next to you on the sofa, he will happily settle and snooze provided he is getting his walks. Boris has been left for short periods of time (up to an hour) in foster with another dog. He probably wouldn't like being left for much longer. Boris needs a home where there are no children or visiting children as he has snapped when handled by children in the past. Boris is very nervous at the vets and will growl - he will likely have to be muzzled when being handled by a vet. Boris has a sensitive stomach and needs grain-free/hypoallergenic food. On this diet, he has been completely fine in foster. Boris would thrive in a dog-savvy home, with someone who understands he is a dog and needs to be given space and not mollycoddled.
