You'll never experience anything like it anywhere else!
Way back when we were younger, a group of enthusiastic Doodle owners who met online got together for a weekend of fun in the New Forest. Fast forward to the summer of 2010, a move to the Midlands, and Doodlefest as we know it today was born and has since become the number one event in the calendar of dog lovers around the country.
Doodlefest is brought to you by Doodle Trust (founded as Labradoodle Rescue UK in 2007), and its team of irrepressible volunteers, its aim being to help spread the word and educate the public about the beautiful poodle crosses that Doodle Trust find themselves helping each year, and importantly, to raise funds to allow them to continue their great work.
Doodlefest is a fantastic family weekend, where else would you find people wearing fancy dress, dancing with their dogs and doing a pub quiz in the middle of a field? Like-minded people and their dogs, not just doodles, come together for three days of camping, entertainment and laughs. They come to meet people they only previously knew in the virtual world and life long friendships have been formed, both human and canine!
We have a full schedule of entertainment across the weekend including a fun dog show with classes for all breeds and all the stalls and games you'd expect, fancy dress, disco, and fun for the campers on Sunday morning. How much more fun can you fit in! Our campsite has toilets and shower facilities, no electric hook-ups unfortunately but small generators are permitted.
If you don't fancy the full weekend our gates are always open to the public on the Saturday. As well as the usual dog show we have agility, a scurry and lots of stalls for you to peruse whilst you realise that next year you want to experience Doodlefest in its entirety! You will not come across a friendlier place than Doodlefest!
