MILLY IS NOW RESERVED
- Type: Cavapoo
- Gender: Female
- Age: 18 months
Hello. I came to Doodle Trust to get some bravery training and look for a new family… could you help me?
I am Milly, a Cavapoo and I am a little worried by this big bad world after spending the whole of my 18 months as a mum … now I am ready to start a new life.
I’ve only been with my Foster Mum for 3 weeks but I have been working really hard to adjust. I love a fuss with a calm quiet human, although I’m not quite ready for big cuddles and lots of people yet. I also love food... in fact, I will do almost anything for a treat. Did you know there are laps to sit on?? I have just discovered this and I like it. I like to do things in my time and will come to you when I’m ready, I don’t like being rushed
I’m really good at toileting and haven’t had any accidents. I’m happy to walk on a lead and only need to stop if there’s a strange noise (and there are lots of them) I do bark at noises in the house but my foster mum keeps telling me to be quiet so I am learning. I hate crates after being locked up for so long so I now sleep at the side of my foster mums’ bed and never make a peep. I’m never going in a crate again!
I’m not perfect, and I have a lot to learn about the world and all the scary things out there, but do you think you could love me?
Milly is not suitable to rehome with children and needs to be in an adult only home.
She will require a very secure garden to play in, although at the moment there is no playing but she does enjoy sitting and enjoying the fresh air
Milly has shown that she will respond to her name and is eager to please and has already learned to sit
Milly will require patience and dedication to build her confidence at her pace
She will need a human who is home most of the time
She is very good with other dogs but has not met cats. She is currently living with four large dogs but would be much happier with a quiet companion.
We are looking for a home that meets the following criteria
- QUIET LOCATION where this dog can get a lot of walking away from roads and the noise of heavy traffic
- No children - please don't apply if you have children as this dog has no experience of them
- Someone around most of the time who can give a lot of love and attention
- Patient owners, someone with the ability to cope who has the time and patience for this dog
- A lot of exercise as this reduces her stress levels
- Another neutered dog for company
- A securely fenced garden
Milly is fostered in West Yorkshire.
Please phone Lindsay on 07842458177 if you think you may be able to offer a suitable home for Milly.
