Scrumpy

Hello, my name is Scrumpy. I am two and a half years old, and I am a Poochon.
My Mum and Dad adopted me from the Doodle Trust. They wanted a doggy friend for their Jackapoo, Molly.
I came for a sleepover at first to see if it all worked out, and my Mum and Dad loved me from the start so I stayed forever. They were a bit worried about how Molly would react and, at first, there were a few growls, because Molly had been used to having Mum and Dad all to herself, but once Molly realized I liked playing, we all got along. Molly is a bit bossy, but she is my big sister and in charge, so that is fair. She has a good nose, so she shows me all the exciting things to smell and explore on walks, and I follow her lead. It is a bit boring, though, when Molly runs off after rabbits, as I am not interested in rabbits, but I do like cats. I like to lick our cats' ears, but I don’t think she likes me doing it all the time.
I love going for long walks and chasing sticks and, when I get excited, I look like a leaping lamb. I do like my grub, and I have snatched sausages and even biscuits out of Dad’s hand! I also really like other dogs and people; especially small children. I like having my coat brushed and cuddling up with Mum and Dad on the sofa or the bed.
I can be a bit naughty, and I like to play a little game where I won’t come back on the lead after a walk, and I am a bit of an escape artist because I just love meeting people.
Molly and I guard the house, and we like to bark at passing dogs.
I have been to France and had a lovely time. We met lots of French dogs, and I learned to bark “Bonjour”.
Love, Scrumpy
