Eddy

Eddy came to us in July at the end of lockdown and, although it's only been six months, we can’t imagine life without him. He is such a fantastic dog, and he makes us laugh daily. You only have to walk into the room and he thumps his tail with glee against the floor. Should either of us go out, the returning human is greeted at the door with a wagging tail and a toy surprise. He loves his walks and, despite his penchant for rolling in stinky stuff, we love them too. Shortly after getting Eddy, we all took a trip to Wales to stay on a canal boat for the week. Eddy was in his element. He spent the whole time sitting on the front deck just staring at the ducks. He has a strong personality, that is coming through more and more each day, as he becomes more confident and settled in his new home. We both feel we hit the doggy lottery with Eddy. He is an absolute delight, he loves his toys and seems genuinely happy every day. We have even started running together and completed the “pooch to 5km” training plan late last year, I’m hoping to run his first park run with him when they restart in the Summer (temperature permitting of course). We are both so glad the DT let us adopt Eddy, he has made our family complete.
