Who We Are
Doodle Trust has been in existence since April 2007, firstly known as Labradoodle Rescue UK, then Labradoodle Trust, before becoming Doodle Trust. We are a UK wide charity registered in Scotland.
We rescue and rehome Doodles (Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, Cockapoos, other Poodle crosses) and Poodles throughout the UK.
All dogs are assessed in individual foster homes so we can learn the true nature of the dogs signed over to us and match them with their perfect homes.
All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, deflead and wormed, where necessary, before rehoming.
Homechecks are done prior to placing all dogs and follow up support is available.
So far as is practicable no dog is destroyed except in case of serious illness or injury or where the dog cannot reasonably be made fit to live as a domestic pet and so as not to present any unreasonable risk in a domestic situation to humans or to other animals.
Fundraising, education and awareness events are ongoing all year round and the main annual fundraiser, “Doodlefest”, is held in the Midlands beginning on the first Friday in August.
We also provide health and welfare advice as well as giving accurate information about the nature and behaviour of Poodle crossbreeds under our Education and Welfare banner.

We do not pay for dogs entering our care.
Doodle Trust does not have a rescue centre that people can visit. Our dogs are placed into foster homes all over the country in order that they can be assessed in a home environment.
Doodle Trust is run entirely by volunteers in their spare time. We cannot be available 24/7 but we try to do our best.
